The Mill at MSU

The Mill at MSU / Starkville, MS - A renovation/restoration of the Cooley/Stone Cotton Mill building. The historic landmark, built circa 1902, and its 10.89-acre site were converted into a mixed-use conference development including a new state-of-the-art 94,231SF conference center, office space, a four-story 110-room hotel, 458-car parking garage and retail space. The Mill at MSU provides a variety of meeting spaces, from an expansive 10,000 SF ball room capable of seating 1,000, to an assortment of board rooms and conferencing spaces. As with all national register landmark buildings, extensive coordination with both the Mississippi Department of Archives and History and the National Park Service (NPS) was required to ensure compliance with historic guidelines and the preferences of the NPS review board.
